Peter Gordon & The Providores at The Big Feastival
July 1st – 3rd
Our Executive Chef Peter Gordon is appearing at The Big Feastival on Clapham Common, Friday 1st – Sunday 3rd July. He’ll be doing cooking demos in The Big Kitchen at around 3:45pm on Friday and 3:30pm on Sunday.
Food is a huge part of this festival, and several restaurants including Fifteen, Barbecoa, GBK, Wahaca, Canteen and our sister restaurant The Providores are running pop-up kitchens. We can reveal that The Providores team will be serving ‘The NZ Lamb Sam’: a soft bap filled with roast spiced New Zealand lamb, minted yoghurt, tomato tamarind gooseberry chutney and salad.
Recipes from each participating restaurant feature in a Big Feastival book, which will be on sale throughout the weekend.
All the festival’s profits go to two charities, The Jamie Oliver Foundation and The Prince’s Trust.

Soho Food Feast
June 25th
Come join us at Soho Food Feast, a community festival being organised by Margot Henderson of The Rochelle Canteen. Other restaurants taking part include St John, The Ivy, Terroirs and HIX.
Kopapa Executive Chef Peter Gordon says:
“This is the first festival that Kopapa will be cooking at since we opened in December 2010, and I’m really looking forward to working with my kitchen brigade in serving a couple of our dishes to festival-goers. It’s exciting too that Soho Food Feast is in our neighbourhood, and lovely for us to have the chance to support our local community.”

Father’s Day

It’s not just our Mums who like getting spoilt on their special day, so at Kopapa we’ll be doing some special things for Dads at brunch on Father’s Day. If Dad orders a brunch main course he gets to choose a free side dish to go with it. But if he’d prefer a drink, then we’ll shout him a second one on the house.

Join us on Anzac Day (Easter Monday)

We are commemorating Anzac Day by focusing on some of the good things that Australia and New Zealand are known for. We’ll be open for brunch from 8.30am, so if you’re planning to attend the dawn service at Hyde Park at 5.00am, why not join us afterwards? Everyone who eats with us on the day will get a complimentary oaty and coconuty chocolate dipped Anzac biscuit served alongside a piece of lokum – Turkish delight.
Steve, our Bar Manager, has also created a special Anzac Mule cocktail for the day which has NZ 42 Below Manuka Honey vodka infused with Kafir lime leaves, Australian Bunderburg ginger beer – and other secret ingredients.
